Pronoun:

1. Used to refer to the person or people that the speaker is addressing.

2. Used to refer to any person in general.

 

If you have breast cancer, there is a fairly strong chance you are a woman.  You might have kids, a partner, a house, a job…  And you probably are the last on the list of your priorities.

Well, having The Cancer pushes that priority right to the top.  You are allowed, and must, put yourself first for a change.

Us women often don’t like to admit it, but the world really doesn’t stop spinning if the kids have pizza for dinner, and the dishwasher isn’t emptied, and the dog hasn’t been for a walk. 

​

Take time to know your body and how you’re feeling.  Rest on the bad days, and enjoy the good days.  There is only one you, and you need to do all you can to keep you going.
