Noun:

A system of massage used to relieve tension and treat illness, based on the theory that there are reflex points on the feet, hands, and head linked to every part of the body.

 

Now, if my husband were to have reflexology, the therapist would end up a couple of teeth short, when he would have accidentally kicked him or her in the mouth.  Absolutely hates having his feet touched (or touching anyone else’s feet).

I bloody love it!

 

My feet were in an awful state after chemo, and there is a charity:  helenrollason.org.uk, which offers complimentary reflexology, along with various other treatments, for survivors and sufferers of cancer.  Bloody marvellous!

 

I would have my radiotherapy, then pop next door and nod off while having my feet massaged.  What’s not to like?

 

And even after the end of treatment, you can continue to benefit from the Helen Rollason charity.  I still have the odd reflexology session.  But I always leave a donation.  Mainly to apologies for my snoring while I’m getting my feet rubbed.
