Fake eyebrows

Plural noun:  fake eyebrows

 

A cosmetic solution allowing the wearer avoid looking like the Mona Lisa, without the appearance of 2 fat slugs having been drawn along the upper eye sockets.

 

There has never been a time in history where you can get away with massive fake eyebrows without anyone turning a head as now.  I used to mock girls with massive Groucho Marx eyebrows.  Little did I know I would soon be joining their ranks!!

 

More skilled artists amongst us will just take an eyebrow pencil and carefully draw on a mighty pair.  However, having never advanced beyond the stick man, and having been banned from taking O Level art, I would never have been able to have done my previously Madonna-esque (in her True Blue era) eyebrows justice.

 

The answer?  Eyebrow stamps!  Admittedly they still take a little bit of practice.  The first few times I looked a little bit like a stroke victim with one side of my face decidedly lower than the other.  And even when I got them the same height, I still looked like Angry Birds, or at the very least, slightly surprised.  But after only a couple of dozen attempts, I mastered the fake eyebrow.  To the point where I would actually be complimented on them by the ‘pluck your own eyebrows out and draw them back on, bigger, bolder and better’ generation.

 

Never again will I mock the drawn on eyebrow.  Embrace the fake eyebrow.  Exude, darling!
