A strong feeling of annoyance, displeasure, or hostility.

 

This is often one of the first emotions to rear its head after hearing the dreaded ‘C’ word.  In preparation your partner should remove all sharp objects from the home and purchase a set of full body armour.

As the sufferer, you are allowed to display sudden and unpredictable outbursts of anger, for which you don’t have to apologize.  Blaming everything on The Cancer is perfectly acceptable at all times, and your loving, supportive network of friends and family should never dispute this.  They should also ensure they always have a packet of Handy Andies at the ready, to wipe your snot and tear ridden face, and never tell you that you might look a bit like Alice Cooper, even if you do.
