Noun:

The study of cancer. The word comes from the Greek word for tumor or mass. The medical field of oncology covers cancer research, risk and prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.

Oncology, or Wizardry, as I like to call it is a mystical thing, with the Oncologist being the God of all Cancer.

Your Oncologist will be the one who decides if you have to have chemo, and if so, which type of chemo and for how long.  They’ll also be the ones in charge of your radiotherapy.

It’s extremely complex.   Different chemotherapies are administered for different types of cancer. And the cynical part of me wonders whether there is an element of guess work to it all.  However, you must never say anything like this to your Cancer God, for fear of offending.  He/she does after all, have your life in their hands.
